Charles Edward Wilson (1854 – 1941).

Charles Edward Wilson was born in Whitwell, Nottinghamshire, UK, and studied at the Sheffield School of Art. He was a genre painter: that is, he painted people in every-day scenes rather than formal portraits or poses. He was most famous for his watercolours and exhibited seventeen paintings at the Royal Academy and elsewhere.
